Return To Monkey Island – Hey Wait! (Freed Otis) Trophy Achievement Guide
Hey Wait! No seriously wait! Well if you want to learn more about how to actually free Otis I would consider waiting.
Hey Wait! is another trophy achievement that players can unlock within Return To Monkey Island. It requires us to find a way to be able to free Otis.
We can do this during our first visit through the high street (Part One). Here we will need to get information on how to make keys from the locksmith.
INFORMATION ON HOW TO MAKE KEYS
Whilst in the high street make sure to pay a visit to the locksmith. Here we will want to ask about how keys are actually made.
After we have figured out the process of how key making actually works we can then leave the building.
GET A MONOCLE
After the situation involving Lechucks ship we can then head to the Low Street and to the Wally’s Maps-N-More building.
In here we will be able to find and locate a box of monocles. Our job is to try and steal one of these monocles or ‘sneak a monocle’
Funnily enough, despite Guybrush’s best attempts at ‘stealing’ a monocle. It turns out that the store assistant is perfectly fine with us taking one of her monocles. We didn’t really steal anything at all.
READ THE SERIAL NUMBER
Okay now that we know how to both make keys and we also have one of the monocles, our job now is to head to the jail in order to begin freeing Otis.
Now head into your inventory and use the monocle in order to read the tiny numbers on Otis’s prison cell.
Guybrush will then mention that he can read the serial number, he will then proceed to write this number down.
GET A KEY MADE
Return to the locksmith and give her the note that Guybrush wrote the serial number on. She will then accept to make a key based on the serial number. Basically a key to unlock Otis’s prison cell.
FREE OTIS
Return to the prison and use the newly acquired key to unlock the cell and free Otis.
