The Star Wars Outlaws Hidden Archive is a Syndicate side quest. The quest is worth the time as it rewards reputation. However, Kay has a choice to make, as the quest outcome will put her in good standings with one Syndicate while making her unpopular with another.
How to Begin Star Wars Outlaws Hidden Archive
First, you need to complete The Safecracker mission. Wait a bit after completing this quest and you will get a call from Mayiu, the NPC who tasks you with finding the Hidden Archive.
Kay finds Mayiu outside of the Ashiga Clan Stronghold. This is in the southern area of Kijimi City. Speak with Mayiu to find out a bit more about your mission. The Ashiga Clan wants you to retrieve some Crimson Dawn data logs.
Star Wars Outlaws Hidden Archive – Part 1: Discover the Archive’s Location
The first part of this Star Wars Outlaws side quest requires Kay to obtain info about the Hidden Archive. The Thieves’ Quarter is where you need to go. The Stormtroopers there know something about it.
Go to Selik Mynnabah’s shop and look around to spot some Stormtroopers. You will see a grate wall to their left. That location allows you to spy on them. You catch a clue about an Imperial Officer. Your next task is to find him and retrieve a datapad.
The Stormtroopers are blocking the way to the alley where the Imperial Officer is. You can simply walk past them. Continue on the alley and you will see a fallen Stormtrooper. The Imperial Officer is next to it. Use the wall as a cover and command Nix to steal the data pad from him.
Star Wars Hidden Archive Part 2: Part 2 – Find the Data
The next part of the quest takes Kay off the ground. You find out that the Hidden Archive is in space.
Go to the Trailblazer and fly to the planet’s orbit. The quest item is in the Kijimi Nebula. Approach carefully as you can fly into debris. Find the archive protected by a barrier. Check out the map for the locations of the three generators that you need to destroy in order to deactivate the barrier. Retrieve the archive. As soon as the download is complete, the Crimson Dawn will contact Kay asking her to delete the archive. Now, you must choose between deleting the data or returning it to Mayiu.
Side With the Crimson Dawn and Delete the Archive
The Crimson Dawn rewards you handsomely for fulfilling their request. Kay gets credits and a good chunk of reputation that will bump your standing with them to almost Excellent.
The Ashiga Clan will not take this lightly. Kay’s reputation with them will decrease considerably and you might fall from Excellent to Good.
Side With the Ashiga Clan and Keep the Archive
Mayiu will reward Kay with credits and Ashiga Clan reputation.
The Crimson Dawn will not like this. Your reputation with them will drop. However, the amount of Crimson Dawn reputation you lose is not as high as if you would delete the archive and upset the Ashiga Clan.
