Substory 27 in Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth is The Pursuit of Realism. Which features a director and his stuntmen. Aiming to create a film without CGI complete with extreme twists and turns.
THE PURSUIT OF REALISM SUBSTORY
To begin this Substory, players find themselves walking on River Street, where an altercation between a director and two stuntmen unfolds. The tension escalates, leading to a physical confrontation. As a key participant in this unfolding drama, players are given the opportunity to step up and become the protagonist’s stunt double
THE DIRECTOR’S REQUEST
Agreeing to act as the stuntman for the director, players embrace the challenge and respond with a resolute “Let’s roll!” This sets the stage for a thrilling sequence where the protagonist must navigate through traffic while explosions erupt around him.
THE STUNTMAN’S JOURNEY
The journey begins as players make their way up the street, dodging oncoming traffic within a limited time frame. Success hinges on skillful maneuvering, adjusting speed to avoid collisions. Striking the right balance is crucial; going too fast makes it harder to evade cars, while moving too slowly risks missing the shot altogether
AVOIDING THE OBSTACLES
However, players must remain composed and focused, for failure to reach the finish line or being hit by a car results in a failed take. To complete the scene successfully, players must avoid failure. You will have 3 chances to complete this segment.
The vehicles are also constant and there will be a lot of lane switching to avoid the incoming traffic. Your ultimate goal is to reach the end of the busy road.

For those who manage to navigate the treacherous course unscathed, a well-deserved reward awaits. Players receive a Kaiser’s Change Holder, a valuable accessory that enhances their abilities. Additionally, a Reflex Booster is granted, boosting the base Agility stat of one team member. We will also unlock the Bony Kashiwa Poundmate to add to our collection
