Just like with the past Trails of Cold Steel games, Trails Of Cold Steel 3 also has plentyful of optional Side Quests for you to delve into and hopefully complete.
Some of which are missable and have a set time limit in order to complete them too. Below is a guide on how to complete all of the Chapter 1 Side Quests and where to find each one.
1)
QUEST NAME: Package Delivery
QUEST GIVER: Deliveryman Jim
DATE: 4/16 (Sunday)
LOCATION: Leeves (Automatic)
GUIDE:
This one happens automatically and will be your first quest in the game. Considering the areas you need to visit are all marked on the map and are all within Leeves, it is almost impossible to get lost. Though, should one actually get lost for whatever reason, below is a video guide on how to complete it.

QUEST NAME: The Spice Must Flow
QUEST GIVER: Gina
DATE: 4/16 (Sunday)
LOCATION: Cafeteria – School
GUIDE:
Gina will mention that she will need some ingredients in order to cook a certain food.
3)
QUEST NAME: Getting the Band Together
QUEST GIVER: Pablo
DATE: 4/16 (Sunday)
LOCATION: Rooftop – School
GUIDE:
Pablo will speak of struggling to find the correct school club to join and has an interest in Trains. However, after somewhat of a long conversation it is settled that he will try to form a music club instead. Your first destination will be to speak to Valeria at Station Square.
4)
QUEST NAME: Red Perch Search
QUEST GIVER: Izzy
DATE: 4/22 (Saturday)
LOCATION: Saint Arkh – Noble District
GUIDE:
Izzy the chef that works at the Saint Arkh Mansion is making a special dish and needs a special fish known as, Red Perch.
The Red Perch can be found at Isthmia Great Forest.
5)
QUEST NAME: The Wonderful Cat
QUEST GIVER: Old Man Ivan
DATE: 4/22 (Saturday)
LOCATION: Saint Arkh – April Cafe & Inn
GUIDE:
Upon speaking to the clients you will find out that their cat Felix has gone missing. Your first goal is to head for the Noble District you should then find a green marker on your mark as your way-point (Casette). From there head to Cathedral Square (again look for the green marker), here you will meet some mysterious woman.
The last objective is to head for the Residential District to end the quest.

QUEST NAME: Prepare to Dye
QUEST GIVER: Reggie
DATE: 4/22 (Saturday)
LOCATION: Manager’s Residence – Parm
GUIDE:
Reggie is an inspiring young artisan who wants to participate in the Spring Dye Festival but in order to do that he wants some ingredients, you will need to get the following:
Loess Stone – Old Agria Road
Rainbow Rubia – Albion Garden (Rosumi – Saint Arkh)
Sepith – Obtained through defeating foes. Smashing crates etc.. (easily obtained)
After getting all of the required ingredients you can return to Reggie to finish the quest.
7)
QUEST NAME: Wild Recipe
QUEST GIVER: Freddy
DATE: 4/22 – Saturday
LOCATION: Sutherland – Field Camp
GUIDE:
Freddy is planning on making a special dinner but lacks the required ingredients, thus that is where you come in. He will want the following:
x3 Bee Larvae – Kumanba (Parm Byroad)
x3 Plant Bits – Bomb Grass (West Sutherland Highway)
After getting the required ingredients return to Freddy in Car 3 back at Camp.
8)
QUEST NAME: N Sutherl Highway Monster
QUEST GIVER: Bracer Guild
DATE: 4/23 – Sunday
LOCATION: North Sutherland Highway 2
GUIDE:
This one will come automatically through the story, you are tasked with taking down the Queen Kumanba. The Kumanba is quite tough and though at first its a bit of a pushover, once it starts boosting its self that is when you need to start to worry as then it can 1-shot your party members. All you can do is space out your party and run away from it until it stops glowing.
9)
QUEST NAME: Isthmia Great Forest Monster
QUEST GIVER: Bracer Guild
DATE: 4/23 – Sunday
LOCATION: Isthmia Great Forest – Depths
GUIDE:
Another one that will come automatically through the story, you will find the foe in the depths where you encounter the story boss there.
This one isn’t too difficult, though it does have the ability to heal itself so killing it as fast as possible is a good idea!
10)
QUEST NAME: Lost Wallet
QUEST GIVER: Helena
DATE: 4/23 – Sunday
LOCATION: Parm
GUIDE:
During Sunday 4/23 you should find some people huddled around on a bridge near a fishing spot. These people are actually in a bit of a jam as they have lost their Wallet. Accept their quest to begin the hunt.
You can actually find the wallet in Old Agria Road, collect it and return it to end the quest
