Ukouh Shrine – Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
The Ukouh Shrine is an essential part of the main story, it is also a location that we will visit early in the story. We will be tasked with going there during ‘The Closed Door’ quest objective. Which sees us having to visit three shrines in order to unlock the door and meet up with Zelda.
FINDING THE UKOUH SHRINE (IN TEARS OF THE KINGDOM)
After being tasked with searching for the shrines you will then want to head east of the Temple of Time. Here locate and find a set of stairs, continue up them.
As you continue up the stairs you will find that they are damaged and fallen into the ground below. Not to worry, Link can, instead, climb up the wall.
Continue on either running up the stairs or climbing up the wall and remember to conserve your energy in the process. The Ukouh Shrine is up at the top here.
HOW TO SOLVE THE PUZZLES IN UKOUH SHRINE
After unlocking the door to the shrine we will then be rewarded with the Ultrahand ability. Which allows us to grab and move objects. As well as rotate them. Remember this as we will need to do so whilst we are in the shrine. Okay it is time to solve a few puzzles.
SOLVING THE FIRST PUZZLE
This first section features a platform with a gap in between. Perhaps a bridge could be built here? Make use of the Ultrahand and any objects that you may find laying around. Our objective is to get across to the other side. For the most part this room is relatively empty. Apart from a few square slats.
SOLVING THE SECOND PUZZLE
After forming a bridge and getting across to the other side we will come across yet another puzzle. This one is a bit more trickier than the last and requires more patience in order to solve. Remember that nearby equipment can also be attached to each other to form useable objects that we can use.
For this puzzle we will have a zipline that we will need to make use of. However, we cannot do this without first creating a platform in which we can ride along.
Use the wooden slats and rather large hooks for this section. Attach them together in order to form a platform that will then take us to our goal.
LIGHT OF BLESSING
Our reward for having completed the shrine will be a ‘Light of Blessing’ which is a crystal that glows with a light that purges ancient evil and purifies with its radiance.
