Where Winds Meet is the latest RPG in the market, and it has some gacha elements. But unlike games like Wuthering Waves, you don’t have to pull for characters. Instead, the draw is mainly for cosmetics.

The Draw Mechanic in Where Winds Meet Explained

In Where Winds Meet, you can use premium currencies to obtain various cosmetics. Note that these cosmetics do not provide any combat advantage.

You can acquire items of different rarities, ranging from golden and purple to gray.

The game features two banners: a limited banner and a permanent banner.

The limited banner, Celestial Echo, is where you can obtain legendary cosmetics, outfits, weapon skins, skill effects, and mounts. For this banner, you need to spend one Lingering Melody. Lingering Melodies can be purchased by exchanging 200 Echo Jades. You can also use Echo Beads, but this currency is only obtainable with real money.

Meanwhile, the permanent banner, Solemn Echo, uses Echo Jades, which you can earn by completing quests, opening chests, redeeming codes and achieving milestonesa, and Resonating Melodies, which are primarily obtained through Echo Jades.

As the name suggests, Celestial Echo only lasts for a few weeks, while Solemn Echo stays permanently. Once the current banner ends, a new set of cosmetics will arrive in the Celestial Echo.

Like other gachas, Where Winds Meet also has a pity system. Every 150 pulls guarantees a golden or legendary item. Additionally, every 10 pulls guarantees a four-star or purple rarity item. The pity count carries over between banners of the same type or currency.
