In Where Winds Meet you are able to heal your character (and others) which is very important. As during the game you will, most likely, come across multiple ways of getting infected or injured. Either through a wasp sting, broken bones or, even, mental illness. Each infliction and injury has its own method of being cured and removed. But there is at least two main ways of going about doing this.
How to Heal in Where Winds Meet
Currently, there are two ways to heal in Where Winds Meet. Either you can go to Evercare Clinic or you can find other players to help heal you. But the latter of which will require you to be playing online.
The online mode is also good for those seeking to heal other players. So it does have its additional advantages when compared to playing solo, for example.
Where to Find Evercare Clinic
The aptly named Evercare Clinic is located in Eastern Quinghe. If you have unlocked the Boundary Stone then you can fast travel. But for the first time you need to travel there by foot or horse. Once there, you need to pay an additional 10,000 coins to be able to get any form of care. Once you cough up the money, you’ll be healed.
Getting Healing From Others – Requires Online Play
If you don’t want to cough up the money then you can go ahead and have other players treat you. But the person needs to be someone that actually specializes in healing. Or, on the flip side, you can go ahead and cure them yourself. Remember this requires online play. So you will need to switch over to Multiplayer, if you happen to be playing on Solo Mode.
To figure out someone’s illness, use Wind Sense (R3 on Playstation controller). You’ll learn their illness and then you need to choose a method of treatment, either Physiotherapy or Qi therapy. The success of your treatment depends on your overall Mastery skill level. Which begins at Initiate. A small mini-game will commence. This is the same as any form of mini-game if you have healed anything before in Where Winds Meet.
The mini-game involves using a stack of playing cards. The goal is to defeat the illness before your health runs out. If you can’t successfully defeat the illness, it’ll be an unsuccessful treatment.
Focus on protecting yourself with a shield first, using cards that offer protection and damage. A good strategy is to use cards that sacrifice vital energy, which helps deal large amounts of damage.
How To Increase Healing Mastery In Where Winds Meet
A good way to increase your Healing Mastery in Where Winds Meet is to first, of course, learn the Healing Profession. Which you can do once you reach level 13. From there find and speak with Mu Ji’an and complete Healer’s Calling. Then begin purchasing Career Notebooks.
