How to Complete the Afterglow Side Quest in Where Winds Meet
The purpose of this quest is to unlock the Meteor Flight Mystic Skills Lightness Skill. It is a skill where you can leap into the air, which lets you travel across large distances. However, in order to get this skill there are a few steps you need to take in this quest.
Unlock it by speaking to the Wayfarer of Moonveil Mountain. Then you can finally start it.
Find and Speak with the Fisherman – Learn Meteor Flight Mystic Skill
After unlocking it, you need to head to the Witherwilds in Moonviel mountain. Talk to the Fisherman named Master Qiu Yuehai beside the lake. You’ll learn about the skill and then be given some challenges you need to complete.
Completing the Challenges
First step is to complete the quick time event. After you successfully complete the quick time event, you’ll be able to move onto the Wine Jar Challenge which is the next step.
The goal of the Wine Jar Challenge is to jump on each of the different wine jars. You need to reach the boat in the middle of the lake and not fall into the water. If you do fall, then you start on the jar you were last on.
Using a combination of double jumps, triple jumps, and dashing, get to the boat. Talk to the fisherman and you’ll get the Meteor Flight manual. However, to be able to use this skill fully you need to get the Afterglow Pendant. You get this after gaining 4,000 exploration experience within Qinghe before returning to the fisherman to hand over the pendant
