Where Winds Meet has a total of eleven sects that players can join, and one of them is Velvet Shade. Unlike other sects that place importance on honor and martial arts, Velvet Shade values charm, relationships, romance, and social bonds above all else. As the newest sect in Where Winds Meet, many players may be curious about how to gain access to it.
Read on to learn how to join Velvet Shade in Where Winds Meet.
How to Join the Velvet Shade in Where Winds Meet
Players can use two methods to receive an invitation to the sect. Unfortunately, solo players may need to start looking for a partner or choose to stick with another sect.

Marry and divorce another player
Where Winds Meet has a marriage system that allows players to have partners by marrying another player. To get married, players must first increase their intimacy by playing together in each other’s worlds, which includes completing quests and objectives.

To have a chance to join the sect, players must sever their relationship and divorce another player within two days (48 hours) of getting married. This is done by heading to Crimson Cliff and speaking with the marriage NPC, Shi Yimo.
Afterward, an invitation to join the sect will be received immediately. If it doesn’t work, restart the game or repeat the process.

Marry two partners in a week
This option is a bit harder than the first, especially for players who prefer playing solo or don’t have friends to form a partnership with.
For the second method, the game states that players can also join by attempting to form a partnership twice in quick succession.
