A True Arena Champion Side Quest in Wuthering Waves takes you to an Exil camp where you participate in multiple trials, from shooting targets to battling a Gladiator Champion and his Echos.
Beginning A True Arena Champion Side Quest
Head to the island northwest of Remnant Residence to begin A True Arena Champion side quest. Once you arrive, you’ll see an Exil Commoner surrounded by Hyenas. Defeat the creatures. Once he is saved, speak to him. He introduces himself as Zeyuan and he tells you about the challenges in the arena nearby.
Meet him at the camp entrance and speak to him again. He promises to get you a pass for the Arena. Speak to the Exils marked on your screen. Once done, meet with Zeyuan again and he’ll give you a camp access pass. After that, talk to the receptionist to apply for the Seaside Arena.
Seaside Arena Registration
In order to register for the Seaside Arena, you must complete three smaller trials. First, climb to the top of the camp’s highest building to retrieve your gun. Use grapple points and stairs to make your way to the top. Return to the receptionist when you’re done.
For the second trial, you must complete a target shooting challenge in under 2 minutes. Walk up to the machine next to the receptionist to start the trial. Switch to a character with a gun, like Aalto or Chixia. Shoot the diamonds that appear over the floating targets. They are also marked with black and white S markers in case you can’t see the target itself. The targets are all around you, on top of buildings and in the air. There are 6 in total.
After this, wait until 5 p.m. and head to the final trial location northeast of Remnant Residence. Talk to the Exil Trainer by the water. You must battle her Echo to complete the third trial. Once you defeat it, you receive your final badge. Return to the receptionist, submit the badges, and complete the registration to enter the Seaside Arena.
The Seaside Arena Trials
Enter the Seaside Arena to begin the trials. There are three waves of enemies that increase with difficulty. For each wave, you face off against an Exil and at least 2 of their Echoes. Defeat all of them to end the wave.
Facing the Gladiator Champion
Once you’ve passed all three trials, the Gladiator Champion will contact you and ask to meet. Head to the location he mentions. After talking to him, wait until noon the next day and return to the arena to face him.
In the first round, you face the Gladiator Champion and two of his Chasm Guardian Echos. Defeat him to end the round.
In the second round, you face off against the Gladiator Champion and his Prism Echos. The Prism Echos give him power, so you must defeat them before defeating him.
Rewards For A True Arena Champion Side Quest
After you’ve won the match, talk to Zeyuan and the Examiner Exile in the area. For your final objective, bid farewell to the Arena Champion. Your rewards for completing A True Arena Champion Side Quest in Wuthering Waves are x4 Medium Resonance Potion, x2 Medium Sealed Tube, x4 Medium Energy Core, and x6000 Shell Credit. You also receive the trophy A Desperate Gamble.
