Another exciting side quest in Wuthering Waves is Shadows Of The Past, which is an Exploration Quest and is available during Act II. Here we are tasked with finding and speaking with Xiaoyu. We can do this specific objective after completing Hidden Dangers in Peaceful Life

During Act II and after completing Hidden Dangers in Peaceful Life, you will want to wait 24 hours (real life time) before we can begin this one. In-game timers do not work and therefore you will have a bit of a wait on your hands in order to start this one.
However, once your waiting time is up we will then get a message from Xiaoyu, which will tell us to go and meet her over in Jinzhou
Meeting Up With Xiaoyu
Meet up with Xiaoyu in Jinzhou and she will mention a colossal Tacet Discord underneath the Tiger’s Maw Mine. Which caused chaos when it was first discovered. After some more dialogue Hua Yu will contact and tell you that the mine is currently unstable.
Head To The Mine
After getting the run down on the Tiger’s Maw Mine we now need to head there. It is located just south of the city. West of the Corroded Ruins.
When you arrive there will be a small scene involving some worried miners. Rover will assume that the chaos could be coming from Leili and Modee. Speak to them both in order to find out more about the situation.
Mo Di will mention why he thinks the Lampylumen mineral is a good idea to have. However, Leili disagrees. He also continues to mention the reboot being unsuccessful and is worried about what might be happening inside the mine. Finally speak with Huayu.
Follow Uncle Hong And Head To The Mine Basement
After speaking with everyone you will now want to head to the mine basement. We can do this by jumping down and gliding. When you arrive you will be in an area full of ice crystals, which is the result of using Lampylumen material. Proceed on and defeat the Ice Chrysalises.
Keep following the quest marker deeper into the mine. You will come across a glow and an item of interest on the floor. If you inspect it Uncle Hong will mention his nostalgic past, regarding him and Chengwen enjoying a box of stew together.
Anyway continue on into the Dusk-Sealed Track. A scene will kick into play and Uncle Hong will mention that he cannot help from here on.
Defeat Phaenix Army Force (Lampylumen Myriad)
Continue deeper through the mine as our next job is to find and defeat the Phaenix Army Force. The path is rather linear so just continue on and you will eventually meet the problem maker of the Tiger’s Maw Mine, Lampylumen Myriad: Mistfield Tunes
After the battle report back to Uncle Hong to complete the quest and unlock the Days Gone By trophy achievement
