ARC Raiders has several missions in the beginning that help you get used to the map and the world your playing in. One of those side quests are the Hatch Repair Quest in Arc Raiders. It’s quite a simple quest and one you will likely complete without even realizing

How to Complete the Hatch Repair Quest in Arc Raiders
Shani gives you the Hatch Repairs quest, which is one of the earlier ones you get in Arc Raiders. Many of her quests help you get used to the areas and Hatch Repairs is no different. The goal is to find one of the hatches in the area. Once you find it, you need to repair a hydraulic pipe that is nearby, enabling you to open it.
There are plenty of hatches in the game so you’ll be able to find one no problem. Just look for a small white icon on the map. Easy, right?
Once you have found the hatch, the goal is to repair it. Luckily, it’s pretty easy to repair the hatch. All you have to do is go to the pipe on the side. Remember, the goal is to repair the pipe so if you go up to it, you’ll get the interaction to interact with the pipe.
Once you repair the hatch, you’ve successfully repaired it leaving you with nothing else to do but leave the area. Well, right after you do one last thing; grab the hatch key. It’s in a box beside the hatch after repairing the pipe.
This key can be used to help you escape through a hatch. Don’t worry once you use it. You can get others from Shani for 9k or craft some at a level two utility station. Given the steep price of the keys, it might just be easier to craft them unless you happen to have 9k laying around, then go for it.
