BARD Robots are massive in AtomFall, so big that it makes sense to feel a bit freaked out when running into one. These things can torch anyone who gets too close without thinking. They’re all over the place, wandering around the wilds or keeping watch in bunkers and prisons. They come in different forms, but they can be taken down if you have a plan in mind. Here’s how to handle them.
How to Kill BARD Robots in Atomfall
In Atomfall, robots come in three types, and all of them are deadly. Some will try to mow targets down with machine guns, while others go straight for the burn with flamethrowers. Either way, the good news is they all go down the same way.

BARD Robots can soak up a ridiculous amount of damage, so swinging away with melee attacks or spraying bullets without thinking won’t do much. Instead, focus on their weak spots. The main target is the glass dome or visor on their head. If it’s the flamethrower type, you can also shoot those fuel canisters on the either side of its body.
Keep pouring bullets and damage into that weak spot until the robot overheats. It will eventually stagger, and this becomes an opening to finish them for good. To make the fight a lot smoother, it’s best to lure them into spots with plenty of cover like walls or buildings. Upgrading some of your skills will do the trick as well.

Once the robot’s down, the final step is taking out its power source: the Atomic Battery. Sprint over and yank it from its back as fast as possible before the robot recovers. There’s also the option to shoot the battery, but that’ll trigger a massive explosion that can easily take the player out too. With that in mind, it’s best to choose the first option when dealing with BARD Robots in Atomfall.
Due to the damage they deal and how tanky they are, dealing with BARD Robots can be exceptionally tough. Fighting them is worth the effort and hassle, though, as you will be rewarded with an Atomic Battery, which is used in several missions in Atomfall.
