She wants you to kill some ronin after they killed her mother. This means you need to kill all the ronin in Harima, in order for this to count towards the quest.

There are three levels to this quest and you aren’t required to go back to the quest giver after you finish each level so just keep killing those ronin! At first you will be required to kill 5 ronin, then 10 ronin, and finally 25 ronin. This quest is somewhat similar to the Out Of Pasture quest

Assassinating Ronin To Complete this Quest

You get a reward after you have managed to eliminate your required waves of enemy targets. For the first wave you get 500 XP and 750 mon. Finishing the second level gives you 550 XP and some material to craft. Then there is the last wave that gives you 825 XP and some building material for your hideout.

To be able to get the rewards for the last level you need to return to the orphan girl at the shrine and talk with her. Once you speak with her, the quest will be finished and Harima may not have to worry about so many killer ronin wandering around!
