In Assassins Creed Shadows there are side quests that take you all over the map. Some involve assassinating a couple of people while others gear more towards collecting. This one is more on the latter side. In Art Collector you will be travelling around Japan searching for Kano Paintings!

How to Start Art Collector In Assassins Creed Shadows
To start this quest go to Kyoto in Yamashiro. You need to talk to Kano Eitoku who will task you to hunt down a total of 10 paintings. Return all of them to Kano and he will give you a handsome reward.
Trying to retrieve some of these paintings might involve fighting, but that depends on how much stealth you want or don’t want to use. It’s really up to you how you play!
All Kano Paintings Locations In Assassins Creed Shadows
All of the paintings can be found in the castles around the map so keep that in mind before searching. The paintings can be found in the following areas:
- Painting one is found in the sub region of Osaka in Izumi Setsu.
- Two is in the sub-region of Takatsuki in Setsu.
- The third painting is in Shoryuji in Yamashiro,
- The fourth painting is in Kyoto in Yamashiro.
- The fifth painting is in Azuchi in Omi.
- The sixth painting is in Nagahama in Omi.
- The seventh painting is in Himeji in Harima.
- The eighth painting is in Koriyama in Yamato.
- The nineth painting is in Fukuchiyama in Tamba.
- The tenth painting is in Obama in Wakasa.
Finishing This Art Seeking Quest
After you have found all the paintings return to Kano in Yamashiro to complete the quest. Is it a time-consuming quest? Yes, but it does give you a chance to explore the map and collect some loot!
