Assassins Creed Shadows Kata is a Yasuke-specific activity through which you can earn XP and knowledge points. Completing one Kata unlocks the Good Form trophy. However, the rewards are worthwhile and you should complete them all. Let’s see where you can find these mini-games!
Assassins Creed Shadows Kata Locations
Katas are QTE mini-games that require you to complete a sequence by pressing the right buttons. You can take part in these mini-games while working on the main quests or after. If you don’t want to play the QTE mini-game, enable the Auto option for Quick Time Events in the Gameplay menu. This option will automatically complete the sequence and you will still get your reward of 250-825 XP and one knowledge point per Kata. Each region has two Kata activities, meaning you can complete 18 Katas.
Assassins Creed Shadows Kata in Izumi Settsu, Yamashiro, and Omi
There is a total of 6 that can be found within these areas. Two of which are located in Izumi Settsu, a further 2 in Yamashiro and two over in Omi.
Kata 1 – Osaka, Izumi Settsu
Location: The island west of Osaka.
Kata 2 – Yawata Plains, Izumi Settsu
Location: East of the Makino Kurumazuka Kofun.
Kata 3 – Ogura Pond, Yamashiro
Location: The island southeast of Tofukuji Temple.
Kata 4 – Arashiyama, Yamashiro
Location: The northern side of the region close to the border.
Kata 5 – Goshiki Outlands, Omi
Location: The island in the lake in this region.
Kata 6 – Lake Biwa, Omi
Location: The island on the eastern side of the lake.
Assassins Creed Shadows Kata in Iga, Harima, and Yamato
Another 6 can be found in these regions. Two over in IGA, 2 over in Harima and a further 2 in Yamato
Kata 7 – Hijiyama, Iga
Location: In the western part of the province.
Kata 8 – Nabari Wilds, Iga
Location: In the eastern part of the province.
Kata 9 – The Warfields, Harima
Location: North of Miki.
Kata 10 – Kakogawa Estuary, Harima
Location: In the eastern side of the region.
Kata 11 – Asuka Rocks Basin, Yamato
Location: West of Gose.
Kata 12 – Yoshino, Yamato
Location: In the southwestern side of the region,
Locations in Wakasa, Kii, and Tamba
There is also 6 to be found in these key regions. Two can be found in Wakasa, 2 in Kii and two also over in Tamba
Kata 13 – Onyu Pass, Wakasa
Location: Southeast of Obama.
Kata 14 – Sotomo Gate, Wakasa
Location: In the eastern side of the region.
Kata 15 – Kinokawa Valley, Kii
Location: Northwest of Koyasan.
Kata 16 – Kumano Sanzan, Kii
Location: Southeast of Hongu.
Kata 17 – The Silver Lands, Tamba
Location: In the northwestern side of the region.
Kata 18 – Takeda, Tamba
Location: The pond on the eastern side of the region.
