Assassins Creed Shadows – Iron Hand Guild Side Quest

Iron Hand Guild is an Assassins Creed Shadows side quest that requires you to track and kill the Iron Hand. Let’s see how you can find him!

How to Start the Iron Hand Guild

Complete Act 1 of the story and kill Nobunaga. Make your way to the Sakai Firearm District in Izumi Settsu where you will find the quest giver, Imai Sokun.

He will tell you about a group of merchants led by the Iron Hand. He wants you to kill the leader, but spare the others. You can disregard his request and do as you wish. The quest has the same rewards whether you spare the merchants or not. The only difference is that Imai will be pleased if you let the merchants live.

How to Complete the Iron Hand Guild

There are four merchants you must deal with before you can get the leader.

• Kanta.
• Ginroku.
• Tamao.
• Kin-No-Suke.

Don’t go to the Iron Hand’s location before visiting all four merchants as you won’t find him. You can visit these four merchants in any order you like.

Where to Find the Four Merchants

Merchant Kanta

This merchant is in a settlement north of the Mouth of Seta. Make your way to the Otsu Upper District to find the target on the dock. You can make quick work of him with a stealth kill or grab him and knock him out if you don’t want to kill him.

Merchant Ginroku

Travel to the northwest part of Tamba to find your next target. He is in the southwestern area of the city. Kill him or spare him, the choice is yours.

Merchant Tamao

This target is on the eastern side of Honnoji Temple. Tamao is in a building you cannot enter. Notice the jars in front of the door. Break them and he will come out. If you don’t want to kill him, get behind him as soon as possible so you can knock him out.

Merchant Kin-No-Suke

You need an item if you want to spare this merchant. Go northeast of the Onyu Pass and search for the bandits nearby. Take the letter they were guarding and make your way to Obama City to find your target. Give him the letter, so you can discover another clue of the Iron Hand’s whereabouts clue without killing the merchant.

Defeat the Iron Hand

After obtaining the four clues, make your way to Fukuchiyama castle to find the Iron Hand.

He is surrounded by guards. You can quietly take them out one by one. Once you have dealt with the guards, you can engage and defeat the Iron Hand. Return to the quest giver to receive your reward and end the quest.
