Atomfall, like any other RPG, makes the grind easier and more convenient by letting you unlock skills that let you disarm traps, improve your stealth, enhance combat skills, and more. Atomfall works differently, though. Instead of racking up experience points, unlocking skills means tracking down specific items out in the world. Here’s how to unlock access to a variety of skills in Atomfall.

You’ll unlock and upgrade skills in Atomfall by tracking down Training Stimulants and Training Manuals.

How to find Training Stimulants in Atomfall

Training Stimulants are what give you Skill Points in Atomfall. Think of them as the currency for picking up new skills, of course, provided it’s unlocked.

Don’t expect to find Training Stimulants lying around everywhere. They’re tucked away in specific spots, and if you’re not paying attention, they’re easy to miss. You’ll usually find them hidden inside B.A.R.D crates, desks, caves, bunkers, and other sneaky places. Once you grab one, it automatically converts into Skill Points.

Here are some locations where you can get Training Stimulants:

On top of the desk and inside BARD crates inside Bunker L7
BARD Crates inside Outlaw’s Cave, near the Melee Combat Manual
Upper level of the storage room, and BARD crate inside Bunker L6
Case inside the Store Room after restoring the power to the Charlie Battery Terminal
On the box after entering the Forgotten Cellar

What are Training Manuals in Atomfall

Now, if you want to expand the list of skills you unlock beyond the initial twelve, farming Training Manuals should be among your priorities. Collect them, and you’ll gain access to better and stronger skills that can certainly make your life easier inside the quarantine zones.

To obtain these, you must either find them in specific areas across the four regions or purchase them from traders. Some may even require completing or at least progressing in several quests to obtain.

In Atomfall, there are seven Training Manuals, and here are the skills that they unlock:

Consumables Manual: Gut Health, Buff Duration, and Blue Fingers
Crafting Manual: Gunsmith, Deep Pockets, and Crafting Speed

Melee Combat Manual: Melee Weapon Attack Power, Seasoned Brawler, and Heavy Melee Attack Power
