In the immersive world of Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, players encounter a multitude of captivating Substories. One such Substory is the Beach Guardian: Water, Water Everywhere. It is the first quest in a series of different stories relating to the life guard, Raymond.
HOW TO UNLOCK THE SUB QUEST
To embark on the Beach Guardian: Water, Water Everywhere Substory, players must first reach Chapter 3: The Fool. As you explore the vibrant Aloha Beach, keep an eye out for a lifeguard in distress. This lifeguard, Raymond, is dedicated to protecting the beach and its visitors.
THE RESCUE MISSION
The Substory commences as the protagonist, Ichiban, finds himself swimming towards the center of Aloha Beach. In a sudden turn of events, Ichiban encounters a drowning man. As he rushes to help, another swimmer swiftly approaches Ichiban, pleading for assistance in rescuing the distressed individual. Together, they successfully save the drowning man.
RAYMOND THE LIFEGUARD
Impressed by Ichiban’s bravery, Raymond, the lifeguard, approaches him. Raymond is well-known and respected among the beachgoers, and Ichiban can’t help but acknowledge his popularity. This interaction sparks a conversation between the two, leading Ichiban to express his interest in trying his hand at lifeguarding.
CATERING FOR HEATSTROKE VICTIMS
Raymond agrees to let Ichiban join him and promptly assigns him his first task – identifying signs of heatstroke and providing water to anyone who appears weak or sickly.
We can hand out bottles of water by speaking to the nearby beachgoers. Some of which will cry out from the heat, whilst others will not be interested. Look for phrases such as “Oof, feeling dizzy…”, “My vision is blurry…”, or “Feels…hot…”. You will also have a 3 minute timer in which to complete this and hand out as many water bottles as possible. You can give out a total of 10 bottles during this particular segment.
SUBSTORY REWARDS
After distributing all ten bottles of water, Ichiban reports back to Raymond, who expresses his gratitude for the assistance rendered. As a token of appreciation, Raymond offers Ichiban a Resurrection Bolus. This valuable item has the power to revive and heal a fallen ally, proving its usefulness in future battles.
