How To Defeat The Black Wind King
The Boss’s Attack Patterns
The Black Wind King is relatively easy compared to other bosses. Right when you jump into the fight, you have the opportunity to immobilize him and deal some damage. He has seven attacks with his spears. His most basic attack includes slashing his spear quickly, which can be dodged if you time it right. He has a similar attack where he’ll do this twice.
In another attack, the Black Wind King charges across the battle area with a trail of slicing wind behind him. He does this about three times, dodge each of them. He can also summon wind, which is no surprise given his name, and he’ll surround himself with wind. Wait until it disappears before approaching him.
He also leaps into the air and slams into the ground, creating a shockwave AOE attack. A circle of wind appears where he’ll land, so it’s pretty easy to avoid this attack. In a unique attack, he’ll drink a fire flask and spit a ball of fire towards you. Dodge right when he lowers the flask. He also has an attack where he’ll go invisible and reappear with his spear. Since it’s hard to determine where he’ll appear, keep running until he reappears.
The Power Of The Guangzhi Spirit
Attack the boss right away by immobilizing him. Having the spirit of Guangzhi in your arsenal is a good tool against this boss. He has a good variety of attacks but they can get repetitive. As with most bosses, dodge his attacks and freeze him when possible. Utilize your spells to get in close and deal damage when you can.
