In this Black Myth: Wukong How to Defeat Giant Shigandang, we’re covering another one of Chapter 6’s bosses. The Giant Shigandang is regarded as a secret encounter within the Foothills. It is a giant, humanoid rock that makes for an intimidating foe. Continue on to learn about its attack patterns and strategies to defeat it.
Giant Shigandang’s Attack Patterns

The Giant Shigandang has five different attacks. Each attack is super powerful given the nature of this boss. It mostly uses its arms to fight. In one of its simpler moves, the Giant Shigandang will slam one arm into the ground. The moment you see it raise an arm, begin running away. The boss will also swipe both arms, one at a time, usually starting with its right. It ends the attack by slamming both arms into the ground simultaneously, creating a shockwave. Move away to avoid the arm swipes and leap over the shockwave.
Next, the boss will punch the ground with each first, which creates a shockwave from each. Jump over the shockwaves. The boss will then inhale which will pull you towards its mouth. The only way to counter this is to run the other way. Lastly, after the crystals on its arms have been broken, the boss will essentially throw a tantrum. It’ll keep slamming its arms into the ground, creating shockwaves. Jump over the shockwaves until it stops.
Strategies to Defeat Giant Shigandang

To defeat the Giant Shigandang, focus on the blue crystals on its arms. After the boss slams its arms into the ground, Immobilize it, use a Pluck of Many, and attack the crystals as much as possible. Keep at this until the boss is defeated.
