Crimson Desert Where Rumors Gather – How To Complete The Arm Wrestling Mini-Game

Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert Where Rumors Gather is a quest that challenges you to win an Arm Wrestling mini-game. The quest is part of the Trials of Kindness chapter.

Let’s see what you must do to defeat the guard at the tavern!

How to Complete the Crimson Desert Where Rumors Gather Quest

You will start the Where Rumors Gather quest as part of the main story. Follow the instructions and reach Hernand Tavern in the center of the town. Enter the tavern and notice the guard sitting at the table. Interact with him and start the Arm Wrestling mini-game.

How to Win the Arm Wrestling Mini-Game in Crimson Desert

To complete the Crimson Desert Where Rumors Gather quest, you have to defeat the guard at arm wrestling. Press the Continue button when you are ready to begin. After a three-second countdown, the match begins.

Crimson Desert Where Rumors Gather Push Button

Press the Push button as fast as you can. That’s the X button on an Xbox Series X|S controller, the square button on a PlayStation 5 controller, or the E button on the keyboard. Keep smashing the Push button. When the circular gauge appears on the screen, a QTE (quick time event) begins. This is the tricky part of the Crimson Desert Arm Wrestling mini-game.

QTE

Stop pressing Push and pay attention to the needle. When the needle reaches the white area, press the A button on an Xbox Series X|S controller, the X button on a PlayStation 5 controller, or the R button on the keyboard. The needle moves extremely fast and you don’t have much time to react. You have to time the action correctly. If you succeed, the gauge turns red in your favor. If you fail the QTE, the gauge turns white in the opponent’s favor.

Crimson Desert Where Rumors Gather Red Gauge Full

To beat the guard at arm wrestling, you must fill the red gauge completely. The mini-game alternates between smashing the Push button and the QTE sequence. Repeat the two steps until the gauge is fully red. Once you win, the quest ends, but you have more opportunities to practice arm wrestling. The Hero’s Handshake challenge requires you to win three times in a row and then defeat the champion.
