In this Dragon Age: The Veilguard (DATV) Magic of the Ancients Side Quest guide, we’re covering how to fix the artifact. In this quest, you’ll come across a broken artifact in Arlathan forest that needs to be fixed. To fix it, you have to find the (3) three crystals nearby and use Ballara’s tinker ability to fix them. Read on to learn where each crystal is located and how to get to them.
How To Fix The First Crystal In Magic Of The Ancients Quest
To get to the first crystal, climb up on the rock to the right of the broken artifact and jump to the rock across from it. Look up and you’ll see the crystal above you. From this position, you can hold the corresponding button and select Ballara’s tinker ability to fix it.
The Second Crystal Location In Dragon Age The Veilguard DATV
From the artifact, turn around and jump across the gap to the broken path. Follow the path and turn right. Go to the top of the stairs and interact with the broken device on your left. There is a zipline next to the broken device that you can use to get across. There’s a crystal at the end of the path ahead of you that can be fixed.
The Third Crystal
Next to the second crystal is a beam. You can activate this beam and shine it onto the crystal to the right. This will create a bridge. Jump onto the broken path next to the beam. The path will take you to the mystical tower, but about halfway across you can look down and fix the third crystal. If you do it this way, you get to kill two birds with one stone. You can now repair the artifact.
