Dragon Age The Veilguard – A Slow Poison Side Quest

A Slow Poison is one of the Dragon Age the Veilguard (DATV) side quests. If you want to up your Antivan Crows reputation, you cannot let this mission slip away. It requires us to help the Crow scout and find Dareth. Let’s see what you need to do to complete it!

How to Begin A Slow Poison

A Slow Poison is one of the Treviso regional side quests. First things first, you need to have Lucanis Dellamorte as a companion. Now, go to the Library. Enter the building and look around for the note with an exclamation mark. Interact with it to start the quest and track the mission.

The first task is to reach Treviso, where you meet Teia and Viago. Make your way to the Antivan Crows Sanctum in Treviso. Check the merchant to buy the Antivan Tea Set gift for Lucanis. It is not part of the quest, but you should do that since you are there anyway. Follow the quest marker and talk to Teia and Viago to learn more about the mission.

A Slow Poison Walkthrough

Finding Dareth

The first part of the quest takes Rook to the Drowned District in the southern section of the city. Simply follow the quest marker. You can take a bit of time to explore on your way there. When you reach the Drowned District, the quest updates to Help the Crow Scout, Find Dareth.

Approach the marker to unlock the next task: entering the warehouse. As you go inside the building, you will be attacked. The enemies are vulnerable to Necrotic and resistant to Electricity. Lucanis is a preferred party member for this quest.

Defeat the two Antaam and free Jacobus. Notice Dareth’s body on the ground and search it. Your job is to finish Dareth’s contract.

Follow the Crow Marks

The quest indicates you need to follow the purple Crow marks to find Dareth’s contract. Do that, or just follow the quest marker until you reach the vines.

Use the vines to get up and then the ladder. Enter the building through the open window and find the contract on your left. Read it to discover what Dareth’s last mission was.

Use the ziplines and make your way to the garrison. You need to find and defeat the Qamekmaster.

Defeat the Qamekmaster

This mini-boss shares the affinities of the other Antaams you met in the beginning. The fight is not that challenging. Watch out for the poison puddles on the ground and dodge the attacks.

Once the enemy is down, use the key to reach the room with the chest. Now, go back and destroy the jars in the room where you fought the boss. The clues that you need to find are on the desk. Go back to the Antivan Crows headquarters and finish the quest.
