Water Tower is one of the many available main story missions. It involves stopping the Water Tower from being destroyed

REWARDS: 250 Combat Points, 1,000 Parkour Points, Loose Screw, Remote C4, Gang Leader, 1000 Parkour Points (Additional)

GET TO THE WATER TOWER

  • Head to the Water Tower and use a lockpick to get inside
  • Once inside Aiden will contact Sophie and our objective will change to having to disarm the explosives. The first explosive will be right in front of us, on the oil drums.
  • Now whilst in this room if you look around you should notice some white boxes, just above these boxes is a window. Climb up and through this window, our goal is to reach the rooftop.

FIND AND DISARM THE EXPLOSIVES

  • Keep climbing and making your way to the rooftop.
  • The next explosive can be found behind a damaged wooden door, you will hear it beeping.
  • The third and final explosive is located after climbing through a window and opening a blue door. You will also find an inhibitor in here too.

CLIMB UP TO THE TOP OF THE WATER TOWER

  • Continue climbing up to the rooftop of the tower, the yellow markers will indicate where you need to go.
  • Once at the top it will be time to confront both Jack and Joe. In doing so we will be tasked with either fighting them or trying to negotiate.
  • Trying to negotiate with Jack and Joe will lead to a optional choice.

CHOICE: TO HELP JACK & JOE OR LEAVE THEM HANGING (SPOILERS)

  • If you choose to help Jack and Joe, they will run off but re-join you later.
  • If you refuse to help them then be ready to fight them both.
  • Helping them will trigger another dialogue choice later in the game.

GET THE WATER FLOWING AGAIN

  • Interact with the water pump and we will get a tutorial on city factions and alignment.
  • Siding with the Peacekeepers will allow for car traps to be placed in occupied zones. These traps include UV light, Pendulum traps and more.
  • Whilst siding with the Survivors will replace car traps with ziplines. This is a good choice for those that enjoy parkour gameplay, as it unlocks specific mechanics such as Airbags for greater height advantage and Air Vents to help when paragliding.
  • A full list of abilities can be seen on screen. It is your choice to make depending on your playstyle.

SEARCH BARNEY’S HIDEOUT FOR EVIDENCE

  • After deciding on what team will occupy the Horseshoe region, the Horseshoe Water Tower will become a brand new safe area. The chosen team’s theme tune will also play whenever you are in their particular zone.
  • Our next objective is to head to Barney’s hideout. We have already been here before, during the previous mission.
  • Head to the room where the inhibitor is or was and open the gate, this is Sophie and Barney’s main hideout.
  • Whilst in the hideout there will be a wooden board blocking a secret passage. Remove this and continue on.
  • In this secret passage make sure to use your investigation skill and you will find something rather disturbing here.
  • Barney will turn up and obviously will not be happy with us..

WAIT FOR SOPHIE’S CALL

  • After the scene you will now have to wait for Sophie to call you. This may take some time so just leave the area until the time comes. She will end up wanting you to return to the Bazaar.
  • When it is time return to the Bazaar and report to Sophie upstairs.

MISSION DESCRIPTION

Jack and Joe threatened to blow up the Water Tower and deprive everyone of the water. I had to climb the Tower unnoticed and take control of it.
