Speak to Sola In Honing the Edge Quest – Eternal Strands
Speak to Sola by her forge in camp and select the Honing the Edge quest. While talking, you’ll have four dialogue options:
- “That’s all I need to know. See if she’s ready to start.”
- “My sword is the priority, but… Ask what else she can reforge.”
- “Should I reforge or prioritize new gear, I wonder? Ask.”
- “What kinds of improvements, I wonder? Ask for extra details.”
Whatever option you pick, Sola is ready to help you.
Reforge Sword and Shield
After speaking with Sola, your next objective is to reforge your sword and shield at her forge, but you might need to gather resources first. When interacting with Sola, select reforge, Select the Mundane Sword and Shield to view the four resources you need to reforge. They are:
- x6 Tanned Resource, which consists of Thick Hide, Rough Leather, Fleeced Hide, Rehn-Treated Hide, and more.
- x3 Forged Resource, which consists of Red Iron, Cobalt Iron, and Iron.
- x2 Carved Resource, which consists of Softwood, Ironwood, Horn Fragment, and Weathered Bone.
- x1 Woven Resource, which consists of Red Cotton, Dense Acala Fur, Viridian Wool, Acala Fur, and more.
If you don’t have enough resources, you can always return to Glintwood Hollow for more. Each resource offers different buffs, like Heat or Cold Resistance, and can even change the appearance of the item you are reforging. Once that’s done, speak to Sola again to complete the quest.
