In this Eternal Strands The Loomgates Walkthrough, we’re covering the second main mission of the game. Part of it consists of completing companion quests before getting one of the Loomgates to work. After that, you face one of your first bosses, the Ark of the Stricken Earth. Read on to learn about the quest and boss.
Do Companion Quests In The Loomgates – Eternal Strands
Before you can begin the Loomsgate mission, you have to complete two companion quests, Treading Water and Honing The Edge. In Treading Water, Casmyn teaches you how to turn resources into camp supplies, which can be used for station upgrades. In Honing the Edge, Sola teaches you how to reforge to make your weapons stronger.
Once you’ve done that, it’s time to head to Glintwood Hollow and clear out the debris in front of the Loomsgate to get it working.
Ark of the Stricken Earth Boss Fight
Your next objective is to go to the Collapsed Mine in Glintwood Hollow, where you’ll have to fight the Ark of the Stricken Earth, a boss that was dormant earlier. This boss is slow but will do a great deal of damage if it catches you, so stay on your toes. To defeat it, remove all of its armor by targeting its bolts. Approach the bolts, climb onto it, and break them. Continue doing this while avoiding attacks until all of its armor is gone. Once it’s defeated, you can Harvest it.
Speak to Companions
Return to camp and speak to Sola after defeating the boss. With the materials you got from the boss, you can craft Sev’s Fantabulous Conduit Patch. Speak to Dahm next to unlock a new power and then speak to Oria. After that, rest in your Tent. A cutscene will play after and this will conclude the mission.
