The Salamander Boss is one of the strongest bosses in the game, with about 20,000 HP. You come across him in the Toy Box in Vence, and he stands between you and the Warp Device. Salamander Boss’s Attack Pattern
The Salamander Boss is a Level 13 boss with four different attacks. Its basic attack, where it shoots mucus at you, can deal 700 damage to one character. It also has a fire attack that can deal up to 1,000 to one character. This boss can also target more than one character at a time with its attacks. Its Tail Slash attack can hit all 3 characters and deal over 1,000 damage. Lastly, in its most powerful attack, the boss does a ground fire attack that deals about 1,600 damage to each character.
How to Defeat the Salamander Boss
Not surprisingly, the Salamander Boss is resistant to fire attacks, so Leo isn’t much help against it. Use his turns to focus on healing your team. Start off by attacking the boss’s tail, which has 4,000 HP. When it stands, target its stomach, since that is its weak point. Cheryl’s ice attacks are really useful against this boss. Holy attacks are good too. Before starting the fight, if you have any items like Garnet Jewels, equip them. They can slightly increase your resistance to fire and you’ll take less fire damage.
