The Fantasian Neo Dimension Chaos Serpent is the boss you must defeat to fix the Warp Device and end Act 1. Let’s prepare for the encounter!

What You Need to Know About the Fantasian Neo Dimension Chaos Serpent Encounter

To summon the boss, you have to collect the glue from the box in the left corner and interact with the geysers. The boss will spawn in the middle geyser. You might want to restore your HP and MP before the battle. It’s a good idea to make a save, as you might need a couple of tries before downing the Chaos Serpent.

This fight is an endurance battle, so use anything that gives Leo more HP. The Garnet M and Pearl L jewels are a good choice, as they provide attack and HP. Don’t forget to Analyze the boss before starting the fight.

Chaos Serpent’s Abilities:

• Attack. Single target attack.
• Poison Breath. A multi target attack that inflicts serious damage and poisons the party members.
• Poison Ball. Poison-based single target attack.
• Poison Feast. An attack that targets poisoned party members, allowing the boss to “steal” their debuff and use it to restore its HP.
• Poison Floor. The floor turns into poison, applying a poison debuff at every turn.

Fantasian Neo Dimension Chaos Serpent Battle Strategy

Managing the poison is the key to winning the battle. You don’t have abilities to protect against the poison just yet, but you can acquire some helpful items. If you find it too hard to defeat the boss, farm the Funi mobs in the Chaos Fields for Rose Quartz. This item gives immunity to poison.

Chaos Serpent Battle Phase One

Prickle and Valrika are your team members for the fight. Prickle can take the healer role, curing the poison. Leo acts as DPS with Helm Bash and Samidare. Use Helm Bash first to decrease the Serpent’s defense and Samidare to deal damage. Valrika can be a DPS/support. Use Valrika’s Slow on the boss and attack with normal attacks. Don’t waste Valrika’s MP on attacks, as her healing abilities are more useful throughout the fight. This first phase is not that challenging. Once you get to the second phase, things get more complicated.

Chaos Serpent Phase Two

The battle enters the second phase after the first Poison Feast cast. The next attack is Poison Floor and you must prepare for it. Use Prickle’s Barrier All to defend against the poison. Instead of curing the poison like in Phase One, concentrate on healing. Keep in mind to always have at least 200 HP at the end of the turn. The boss charges its Poison Breath attack and prepares for massive damage. Use Valrika’s Crush to mitigate the damage and Prickle’s Barrier All. Repeat the strategy until the boss is down.
