Fantasian Neo Dimension Omega is the final boss in the Thaumatech Factory. Let’s see how to find this mighty adversary and defeat it!
How to Start the Fantasian Neo Dimension Omega Quest
Omega is a side quest that begins once you have found 8 out of 10 robots for Restoring the Base story quest. The robots tell you of a place called the Thaumatech Factory and the password to enter it: Omega.
You must navigate the entire area to reach the last boss. Start on the rooftop and head down into the Depths. You will also find several Machine Chests on your way to the Omega boss.
How to Defeat Omega in the Thaumatech Factory
Omega is one of the toughest enemies in Fantasian New Dimension. This battle is a test of strength and strategy. The boss has unique mechanics. You must learn its abilities and attack patterns to defeat it.
Fantasian Neo Dimension Omega’s Left and Right Hands
You will notice that the boss sits in the middle of the room and has two devices by its sides. These devices will give you a hard time as they empower Omega’s abilities.
The boss deals physical damage with the left hand and Holy damage with the right hand. The moves are empowered by the device on the corresponding side. You will have to destroy the devices to decrease incoming damage. The boss is immune to debuffs. Both devices are weak to Lightning damage, so make sure you use appropriate abilities against them. The right device takes priority over the left, as the boss deals massive Holy damage.
The Overboost Phase
Pay attention to Omega’s countdown. The battle enters the Overboost Phase when the timer reaches 0. This phase restores the devices and you’ll have four or five turns to take them down.
When it is Omega’s turn to attack, it uses the following moves:
- Sacrament (single-target damage) when the right device is depleted.
- Sacrament Lambda (party-wide damage) when the right device is at half power.
- Sacrament Omega (party-wide damage) when the right device is at full power.
- Ultra Punch (single-target damage) when the left device is depleted.
- Ultra Swing (party-wide damage) when the left device is at half and full power.
Make sure to use Quick All during this phase.
After the Overboost Phase, the boss becomes inactive. This is when you’ll want to concentrate your attacks on it. The encounter gets progressively more challenging as the boss casts Thaumatech Laser more often. This ability does party-wide damage and lowers your defense.
The reward for defeating Omega is the Positron Blaster weapon for Prickle.
