Fantasian Neo Dimension Merging Powers is a mission in Ez’s quest line. Let’s see what you must do in order to equip Ez with the Carnwennan, a most powerful weapon!

How to Begin the Fantasian Neo Dimension Merging Powers Side Quest

Obviously, you need to have Ez as a party member to start this quest. Then, you need to complete the Ez and the Guild main quest. Once this prerequisite mission is completed, head to Ez’s House – Workshop. Enter the Living Area, where you will find the Professor and the Guild leader.

Interact with them to start the quest. It is also a good idea to start Valrika’s Survivor of Chaos quest, as it will unlock an area you need to access for Ez’s quest.

To complete this quest, you will need to acquire three items:

• Smushy-Yet-Hard Rock.
• Sandsea Serpent Tooth.
• Olympus Calculator.

How to Collect the Smushy-Yet-Hard Rock

The first material you need to find is an item with a vague description. Luckily, Valrika is quite good at riddles and she tells you that you might find it in the Chaos Caverns. Use fast travel to reach the caverns and check the map to see the location of the quest item. Simply walk there and pick it up.

Return to the Workshop to see what item you need next.

How to Kill the Titanic Serpent and Acquire the Sandsea Serpent Tooth

This is the challenging part of the quest. To retrieve this material, you have to defeat the Titanic Serpent. This mini-boss spawns in the Sandsea. It doesn’t have an exact location. Before leaving for the Sandsea, you should clear the Dimengeon. Once you reach the Sandsea, keep traveling until the Titanic Serpent makes an appearance.

The Titanic Serpent uses the following attacks:

• Bite. Single-target attack applying Poison and Mist.
• Hyper Bite. Party-wide attack dealing serious damage.
• Thunder Ball. The boss spawns three Lightning balls dealing party-wide damage.
• Thunder Breathe. This move activates after three attacks dealing significant party-wide damage.
• Sandphin Summon. The boss summons adds that heal it.

Killing the Sandphins and preparing for the Thunder Breathe are your priorities during the encounter. Leo and Valrika should use Samidare and Arrow Rain to quickly take down the adds. Make sure everyone is healed and use defensive abilities to survive the Thunder Breathe. Ez can use a Remedy to cure those afflicted with Mist and Poison. Whenever you don’t need to heal or kill adds, target the boss. As soon as the boss is down, you can grab the Sandsea Serpent Tooth.

Head back to the Workshop for the last task.

How to Get the Olympus Calculator

You will be glad to know that you don’t need to fight any more bosses for the third and final material. Use the Warp Device to travel to Junkyard – East and make your way to Junkyard – West. The item’s location is marked on the map.

Collect it and go back to the Workshop. You have all the necessary materials. Watch the cutscene to end the quest.
