Fantasian Neo Dimension Beloved Cat is among the first side quests posing a bit of a challenge. Leo’s task is to find a cat, but the quest NPC doesn’t provide any clues on how to make the pet go back home. Let’s find out where the kitty is hiding!
How to Begin Fantasian Neo Dimension Beloved Cat Side Quest
Advance to the point in the main story where you go to Uzra and acquire Cheryl as a party member. You have access to the fast travel system, meaning that you can go back to areas you’ve visited before. To make things simpler, available quests appear on the map of previously explored areas. Use the Warp Device to return to En.
Take the Mountain Path Connecting to En to reach the Old District, just like in the Sick Mother side quest. Go to Owen’s home and follow the left path leading down. This is where you will find the NPC that starts the quest. Interact with him and see how you can help. It turns out that his cat is missing and your job is to find the beloved pet.
Fantasian Neo Dimension Beloved Cat Walkthrough
You start the quest but have no idea where to begin the search. The NPC doesn’t let you in on any details or clues from the get-go. You have to interact with him a second time to discover that he already searched for the cat in the Old District and the road leading to the New District. You will now rule out these two areas, hinting that the elusive feline is in the Harbor or New District. The cat is indeed in one of those areas, but don’t bother looking for it, as it will not want to go home if you show up without its favorite treat, the Piranhara Bones.
Where to Find the Piranhara Bones
The snack is in the Mountain Path area, so that’s your next destination. Go there and make a left to reach the open area. Look around and you will notice some sparkling rocks.
Those are the Piranhara Bones. Interact with the bones to collect the cat’s treat. Now, you need to find the cat.
Where to Find the Beloved Cat
Go to the New District and find the alley between Sid’s Bar and the General Store. You will notice that you can squeeze in through the gap to reach a place that is only accessible if you’re on the kitty rescue mission.
The gap will take you to a house. Enter the house, where you will see two cats. The tiger-striped is the cat you are looking for. As long as you have the bones in your bag, the cat will get the message and go back home.
Before returning to the quest giver, loot the room for five Energy Drinks and 1000 Gold. The NPC is glad his cat and back and rewards you with 1200 Gold and, most importantly, one Iron Key.
