Fantasian Neo Dimension Sick Mother is a side quest in En town. It is not a complicated mission, although finding the solution might be a bit tricky. This quest provides a great opportunity to obtain a valuable item, so you shouldn’t neglect it. Let’s see what you must do to complete this task!
How to Start the Fantasian Neo Dimension Sick Mother Side Quest
This is likely the first side quest you will come across. The mission is available after Kina becomes a member of your party. At this point in the story, you will go back to the Frontier Town of En. Walk around for a bit and you will notice a woman standing in front of two buildings. Interact with her and find out what she has to say.
She explains that her kid has gone missing again and she is in no condition to look for him. The son thinks that his mother’s sickness is caused by the mechteria. The woman also tells you that her child is in the Old District.
Fantasian Neo Dimension Sick Mother Walkthrough
Following the clue the mother gave Leo, you must head to the Old District. Take the Mountain Path Connecting to En on the left. Make a right where the road splits and continue to reach the Old District.
From the En-Old District, go up the three sets of rocky stairs, taking you to Owen’s Shop. To the left of the shop, you will notice the boy near the mechteria. He is determined to destroy the mechteria, in hopes of curing his mother. Your job is to convince him to go home.
How to Convince the Boy to Return to His Mother
This is where the quest becomes a tad confusing, as it seems there’s no way the boy would leave. If you try to get rid of the mechteria for him, you will notice there’s nothing you can do about it.
The only way to persuade him is through dialogue. There are a couple of dialogue options and you might find the correct sequence by accident, but here is the faster solution.
The right dialogue options are:
- Your mother is looking for you.
- Your mother is crying for you.
- How could you make her cry like that?!
- Go home and let her know you’re safe!
Once you have guilt-tripped the boy into returning home, you can go back to his mother. Just retrace your steps to the boy’s mom and interact with her to receive an Iron Key as a reward for completing the quest. These keys will come in handy later, making the quest a worthwhile effort.
