Bookworm is a Fantasian Neo Dimension silver trophy. To obtain this achievement, you must read all the novel scenes. Let’s see how to unlock this missable trophy!
Fantasian New Dimension Bookworm Guide
There are 39 cutscenes you must witness. To get the achievement, you have to watch them all without skipping. You can fast-forward if you wish but do not skip as it will not count for the achievement.
Most of the cutscenes are unlocked by completing the main story. There is no way to miss them, so keep going through the story and you will get them. The progress for this trophy does not carry over when you start a New Game+. If you want the achievement, make sure to complete it in one playthrough. You can always check what scenes you’ve unlocked by going into the Memories section under the Story menu.
What makes this achievement missable is that a few of these novel scenes don’t play automatically after you finish the related story quest and one comes from a side quest.
How to Unlock the Missable Novel Scenes in Fantasian New Dimension
The missable memories are related to:
- Restoring the Base story quest.
- Guided by Yim story quest.
- The Lost Crystal Ball side quest.
How to Unlock the Restoring the Base Novel Scene – The Story of Blik-0 Memory
After completing the quest Restoring the Base, go into the Secret Base – Main Hall. A conversation with a robot will automatically play as you enter. This cutscene unlocks The Story of Blik-0 novel scene.
How to Unlock the Guided by Yim Novel Scenes
This main quest unlocks three novel scenes:
- Vam’s Tears I.
- Vam’s Tears II.
- Vam’s Tears III.
After completing the Guided by Yim quest, notice the sparks on the ground in the Heart of Infestation. Interact with them to trigger the memories.
How to Unlock the Lost Crystal Ball Bookworm Novel Scene – Leo’s Memory
To view this novel scene, you must complete the Lost Crystal Ball side quest, a simple yet missable side task.
Make your way to West Vence and visit Mora’s Shop in Waterway Depths. Interact with the NPC and watch the cutscene. Zinikr notices a crystal ball and says is his. He wants it back, but the old lady in the shop is not willing to give it away without compensation. She says you can have it in exchange for something just as good. Zinikr will suggest a trip to the Maxi Toy Box to find an item that will interest the old lady.
Go to the Maxi Toy Box in Vibra, watch the cutscene, and check the left bookcase. In another cutscene, you will see Leo finding his mother’s possessions. This triggers Leo’s Memory cutscene, the one that you need for the achievement. Once the cutscene is over, check the sparks on the top left corner to collect the Silver Tarot Cards for the old lady. Return to her and make the exchange to end the quest.
