All Marvel Rivals Playable Characters

The Marvel Rivals playable characters selection includes 33 heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe. This is, of course, referring to the release of the base game. Since the official release there has been many rumours and leaks relating to future possible playable characters. Some of which include Blade, Ultron, Phoenix, Mr. Fantastic and possibly even Doctor Doom himself. Anyway there is plenty of choices available.

Marvel Rivals Playable Characters – Which One Is Your Favorite?

Marvel Rivals categorizes its playable characters based on their roles:

Vanguard (Tank).
Duelist (DPS).
Strategist (Healer/Support).

Each character has individual skills and team-up abilities. Team-ups are available only when certain characters are on the same side. These synergies can be either passive or active. It is recommended to pair up characters based on the team-ups to have access to their superior abilities. Let’s check out all the playable characters, their roles, and team-ups!

Marvel Rivals Playable Characters – Vanguard Roles

The Vanguard archetype is a tanking role. These characters attract the enemy’s attention, allowing the other team members to concentrate on their roles.

Just like with a traditional RPG it is always good to follow a tank into battle. They lead the charge and you supply the aid.
