Fantasian Neo Dimension – Minotaurs Boss Guide

The Fantasian Neo Dimension Minotaurs is a tough boss Leo must defeat in order to escape from the Coliseum. Let’s see what we are up against!

What You Need to Know About the Fantasian Neo Dimension Minotaurs Encounter

This encounter features the Minotaurs and Ez. The Minotaurs is the primary target. Ez is acting as a support character for the boss and even though he doesn’t take any damage, we still need to deal with his shenanigans.

The Minotaurs’ and Ez’s Abilities

The Minotaurs uses the following attacks:

• Attack. Single target damage.
• Wipe Out. An attack that hits both party members.
• Intimidate. Reduces attack power and makes you skip the turn.
• Stance of Desperation. The Minotaurs prepares for a powerful ability on its next turn.

Ez helps the Minotaurs with these abilities:

• Attack. Single target damage, but not as powerful as the Minotaurs’ attack.
• Protein Drink. Buffs the Minotaurs’ defense.

Fantasian Neo Dimension Minotaurs – Battle Strategy

The Minotaurs is weak against Lightning damage, but you don’t have any Lightning-based abilities. You can use the Lightning Fragments if your other attacks do less than 750 damage. Ez is immune to any type of damage, so don’t waste any attacks on him.

Debuff the Boss

Kina and Cheryl are not part of the team for this fight. Leo has only Zinikr to rely on, but their complementary abilities are enough to secure the victory. Focus on debuffing the boss, as its attack and defense are quite high. Leo’s Helm Bash lowers the Minotaurs’ defense and Zinikr’s Blade Break decreases its attack. Make a priority out of using Helm Bash after Ez gives the boss a Protein Drink. The lower its defense, the more damage it takes, so keep this in mind throughout the fight.

Keep Your HP Up

Wipe Out is the Minotaurs’ most devastating attack, as it can hit both Leo and Zinikr for about 900 damage. Use Leo’s First Aid and Potion L whenever you are in need of healing. The boss will use Stance of Desperation at low health. The cue for this move is when the enemy target begins to grasp the weapon with both hands. This attack does a lot of damage, so pay attention to the cue and bring your HP to 100%, else you might not survive the attack.

Use Zinikr as a Tank and Leo as DPS

Zinikr’s Taunt and Guard abilities allow him to fulfill a tanking role in this fight. Taunt attracts the boss’s attention and Guard decreases the damage Zinikr receives. Let Zinikr take the heat and use Leo’s Samidare to damage the boss. Zinikr can also throw an Earth Punch once in a while for extra damage. Try to use Samidare and Earth Punch while the boss has a defense debuff, making it take more damage. After the boss is down, a cutscene will play, ending the fight.
