Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl The Mysterious Case is a side quest that sends Skif on a mission to collect a briefcase. Let’s see what you must do to collect the quest item and the two quest endings!
How to Begin the Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl The Mysterious Case Side Mission
Make your way to the Zaton region and go to Sultansk. Find the bartender, Sonya Kalyna, and see if she has any tasks for you. Kalyna tells you that Sultan, their boss, might need some help. End the dialogue with Kalyna and turn around.
Take a few steps and you will notice Sultan sitting on a green couch. He is not the friendliest guy, but that doesn’t matter as he still offers you a job. Sultan tells you about a stash hit by an Emission. The stash contains a briefcase he wants back. You can explore additional dialogue options, but once Sultan gives you the location, you are good to go.
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl The Mysterious Case Walkthrough
Exit the bar and start walking northeast to reach the cargo ship. Walk on the pier and make sure to avoid the anomalies. As you get close to the end of the pier, you will notice a large red container across the pier with one side on the ship.
Be careful of the anomaly pushing you back as you enter the container.
Board the ship and climb up the yellow ladder. Climb the stairs and you will see a hatch right in front of you. Open it and interact with the stairs inside to descend.
Enter the room on the left and you will find the briefcase on the desk. Collect it and go out through the corridor to reach a locked door. Press the red button to open the door and go outside. An Ensign is waiting for you and asks you to give him the briefcase.
You have two options:
- Give the briefcase to the Ensign.
- Refuse and return the briefcase to Sultan.
Give the Briefcase to the Ensign
If you comply with the Ensign’s demand, he will open the briefcase. There is nothing inside, so he thinks this is a trick. He and his companion turn hostile, leaving you no other option but to kill them. Collect the briefcase from the Ensign’s corpse and go back to Sultan to collect your Coupons.
Refuse the Ensign
The Ensign and his companion will become hostile and you must kill them. They don’t put up much of a fight. Go back to Sultan and tell him what happened. He will thank you and transfer about 4000 Coupons as a reward. Sultan admits this job was about uncovering the traitor.
