In this guide, we’re covering STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl Behind Seven Seals Main Mission. This main mission is the second mission of the game and the first to feature choices that affect your story. While walking you through this mission, we’ll also be discussing the choices you can make and the consequences.
Going to Zalissya Bar In Behind Seven Seals Mission
At the start of the Behind Seven Seals main mission, you’ll need to get out of the gravitational analogy field by throwing the bolt at them. Once you’re out, go to Zalissya Bar and talk to the Bartender, Warlock, about Solder.
Find Information About Solder In STALKER 2 Heart Of Chornobyl
To find out more information about Solder, your next step is to ask Richter or Captain Zotov. Both require that you find and bring back the Ward Sensors before they’ll tell you anymore. They both tell you to find a character named Squint. If you ask Richter about Squint, you have to do the Invisible Nets side quest to learn his location. If you talk to Captain Zotov then he’ll send you to a warehouse to find Squint’s location.
Complete A Needle in the Haystack
Once you find Squint, there are two ways you can get the Ward Sensors from him. You can choose the peaceful route and help him. This will send you on another quest, called Piece of Cake, to find a Mold Artifact in a cave nearby. If you decide to do this, return to Squint and give him the artifact in exchange for the sensors. You can also just kill Squint before or after getting the Mold Artifact and loot his body for the sensors.
Picking a Side: Richter or Captain Zotov In Behind Seven Seals Mission
At the end of A Needle in the Haystack, you have to choose who to give the sensors to, Richter or Captain Zotov. Giving the sensors to Richter prevents the Wardens from putting more pressure on the stalkers in the area. You’ll also have to do a couple more objectives, such as going to the Sphere’s Abandoned Communication Hub to gather information on the IPSF installation.
If you give the sensors to Zotov, you go straight to the Sphere after. This also aligns you with the Ward faction.
Entering The Sphere In Behind Seven Seals
When you enter the Sphere, go to the basement and confront Solder. Here, you have the choice to knock him out or kill him. If you knock him out, he helps you in a later mission. After that, exit the sphere via the sewers.
Complete A Race Against Death
Once you’re out of the sewers, a character named Gaffer will contact you and warn you about an incoming Emission. This requires you to immediately seek shelter in Zalissya before it arrives. All you have to do is wait it out before finishing Behind Seven Seals.
Leave via the Northern of Western Checkpoint
After the Emission passes, your next step is to head to either the Northern or Western Checkpoint. If you sided with Richter, you will leave through the Northern Checkpoint. If you sided with Zotov, you’ll leave through the Western Checkpoint.
