Open Skies is one of the many main story chapters, also known as Operation Missions.
Below is a simple guide on how to complete this one..
- OPERATION STORY MISSION: Open Skies
- PREVIOUS MISSION: Death Warrant
- NEXT MISSION: Diesel Daisy

- GUIDE:
DESTROY THE CANNON AT ANTI-AIRCRAFT SITE PI
- After accepting the quest, head north of Verdera, we will now need to destroy the aircraft cannons
- Unfortunately aircraft cannons cannot be destroyed by any simple weapon. Instead you need something with a bit more firepower, something like the El Caballero
- However, you can get lucky and have an enemy use a Rocket Launcher to ‘help’ destroy it for you (this doesn’t always work). This actually happened to me when I was trying to capture screenshots for this guide. I was not ready and well, long story short, hopefully this guide at least shows you what you are meant to be aiming for.
- I have tried attacking aircraft cannons with basic weapons and nothing even put a dent in it. So if there is no rocket launcher foes to help you out, then follow my guide on how to get the El Caballero
- Before we leave don’t forget to collect the Deplete Uranium. Which can be used at Juan’s shop. The Depleted Uranium can only be found at Anti-Aircraft sites
ACCESS THE UNDERGROUND BUNKER
- After taking care of the aircraft cannons, make your way north to Danzante Ridge
- Here we will want to access the underground bunker, which is currently being guarded.
- Deal with the guards and continue through the bunker. Eventually as you continue on through the various rooms, the mission objective will change
HACK THE MAIN COMPUTER
- When the mission objective changes, proceed down the stairs to find the computer that we now need to hack
- After interacting with the computer, you will then need to wait for it to process and do its job. In the meantime expect to be ambushed by yet more enemies
- Try to stay near the computer because if you leave it, chances are enemies will come and try to interfere with the download
- When the bar at the top left reaches 100%, we can then move on.
ESCAPE THE FND BUNKER AREA
- Our goal now is to try and escape the bunker
- Once you have successfully escaped the mission will end
MISSION OBJECTIVE:
Remove Jose’s advantages Dani – without them, he’s weak.
To gain the upper hand with Jose, take out his anti-aircraft cannons and disable his radar capabilities. They won’t see you coming, and by the time they do it will be too late
