He sends you on a journey to find a stabilizer that may be able to help with his curse. Read on to learn exactly where each water source is located.
Beginning the In Safe Hands Sapper Quest
In order to begin the In Safe Hands Sapper Quest, speak to Luca at the camp in First Anchor. Select “Sapper Quest” when presented with the option. Luca tells Nor about a stabilizing agent that he heard about that would help him. Nor readily agrees to find it for him.
The stabilizer can be found in two possible water sources nearby. He has a vile that will change color in the water if the stabilizer is present.
Find the Two Water Sources
There are two water sources near Garden Ravine that may have the stabilizer, a wellspring and a lake. Fast Travel to the closest campsite southwest of the Ravine’s Secret. From the camp, take the north exit and use the rifts to travel through the area. These will take you down the path and to the right. Continue past the ruined building, heading east. The lake is down the hill. You’ll have to defeat the dead before you can test the lake for the stabilizer.
Next, head to the wellspring. Pick up the explosive barrel in the lake and head towards the cliff to the right of the Lodestone. You’ll see a place to set the barrel and breach the cave next to an enemy. Follow the path through the ravine using the rocks to jump and climb up. When you come across a skull, use it to open rifts and exit the cave. There is a small wellspring at the top on your left.
After you’ve tested the water, return to Luca to complete the quest. You’re rewarded with a level 3 rare firearm called the Firespitter.
