Zenless Zone Zero Attribute Anomaly Debuffs

Zenless Zone Zero has five attributes: ice, electric, fire, physical, and ether. When Agents hit enemies, they inflict damage pertaining to an attribute. This causes attribute anomaly to build up. When enough attribute anomaly accumulates, the target suffers a debuff.

Attribute Anomaly Ice – Freeze and Frostbite Debuffs

Ice Attribute Anomaly

Enemies affected by Freeze are completely incapacitated for a while. When Freeze ends, Shatter causes the target to take Ice damage.

Damage: 500% ATK.

Frostbite pumps us the crit damage your target receives.

Electric – Shock Debuff

electric attribute anomaly

Shock interrupts enemy actions and causes extra Electric damage. Machine targets lose the ability to move under this debuff.

Damage: 125% ATK.

Attribute Anomaly Fire – Burn Debuff

fire

Burn is a Fire DOT (damage over time). Organic targets cannot move when they have the Burn debuff.

Damage: 50% ATK.

Attribute Anomaly Physical – Assault Debuff

physical

Assault is a powerful Physical damage debuff that also bumps the Daze on the enemy.

Damage: 713% ATK.

Attribute Anomaly Ether – Corruption Debuff

ether

Corruption increases the amount of Ether damage received by the target. Ethereal foes under this effect will start attacking their allies.

Damage: 62.5% ATK.

ATK is a combat stat representing how much damage an Agent can deal.

How to Maximize Zenless Zone Zero Attribute Anomaly Debuff Effects

As you can see, attribute anomalies are powerful debuffs. You will want to maximize their effects to become a force reckoned with on the battlefield. In order to do this, you must look into anomaly-related combat stats and specialization.

Zenless Zone Zero has two anomaly-boosting stats: mastery and proficiency.

Anomaly Mastery increases anomaly buildup. For each point in mastery, the buildup rate gets a 1% bump.

Anomaly Proficiency increases the damage of your anomaly debuff. For each point in proficiency, you deal 1% more anomaly damage.

Zenless Zone Zero Agents have five specializations to master. The Anomaly specialization improves anomaly buildup and damage. Enemies are susceptible to different attribute damage. Make sure to use the right one depending on your target.

Mutant enemies take more Ice damage.

Corrupted and Organic enemies take more Fire damage.

Machine enemies take more Electric damage.

How to Take the Zenless Zone Zero Anomaly Effect to the Next Level

Two different attributes can fuse to activate the Disorder effect. You must apply the second anomaly within 10 seconds of the first one. Disorder deals additional damage. The Disorder damage depends on the damage of the original anomalies. Disorder builds up Daze which triggers a Stun effect leaving enemies impaired and vulnerable.

You should aim to apply two anomalies triggering Disorder and Daze. To do this more often, pay attention to the Impact stat and Stun specialization. The Impact stat increases the Daze buildup. Agents with the Stun specialization are more efficient with crowd-control abilities such as Daze.
