Zenless Zone Zero Notorious Hunt Bosses Cheat Sheet

Zenless Zone Zero Notorious Hunt is a weekly activity that pits Agents against three powerful bosses. Players gain access to this challenge at Inter-Knot level 30 after completing certain Chapters. So, follow the story, and you will unlock these trials. Notorious Hunt is considered a hard mode activity as it features some of the most difficult encounters. The three Notorious Hunt bosses are Dead End Butcher, Unknown Corruption Complex, and the Twin Marionettes.

Zenless Zone Zero Notorious Hunt Dead End Butcher

Faction: Ether Mutants.

Weakness: Ice, Ether.

Zenless Zone Zero Notorious Hunt Dead End Butcher – Strategy

The Dead End Butcher looks menacing, but the good news is that he is predictable. That’s to say, you can spot his attacks and react accordingly. Use Perfect Dodge and Perfect Assist to avoid taking damage. Remember that it’s more important to avoid damage than to deal it. Whenever you see the boss getting ready to hit you, stop whatever you are doing and get out of harm’s way. Once the Dead End Butcher’s HP bar reaches 0, the fight enters the second stage. In phase two, the mechanics are the same, the only difference being that the boss is faster. You will have less time to react.

The Newborn Dead End Butcher is a variant of the original boss. It has the same stats and weaknesses, so don’t be fooled by the new appearance and use the same strategy.

Unknown Corruption Complex

Faction: Corrupted.

Weakness: Electric, Ether.

Zenless Zone Zero Notorious Hunt Unknown Corruption Complex – Strategy

Perfect Dodge and Perfect Assist are your assets in this fight. Use them to avoid damage, but watch out as the Unknown Corruption Complex’s attacks leave a dangerous area that still does damage after avoiding the initial attack. If you stay in these areas, you will become staggered. The second phase begins when the boss reaches 0 HP. You will have to deal with two ranged attacks: missiles and lasers. Avoid these by moving in the opposite direction. Keep in mind that the laser leaves an AOE on the ground.

Twin Marionettes

Faction: Ether Mutants.

Weakness: Ice, Ether.

Zenless Zone Zero Notorious Hunts Twin Marionettes – Strategy

In this fight, you will face two bosses. There aren’t many opportunities to deal damage as you must steer clear of both bosses’ attacks. When the Twins go into frenzy, they will do a movement-tracking aerial slam attack that can be dodged. The Twins are inseparable. When one dies, the other will bring it back to life. Spread your damage evenly and take them down at the same time.

It is worth noting that none of the Notorious Hunt bosses have any resistances. Work towards building those attribute anomalies and you will have a kill in no time!
