Heartopia features a variety of tools used for different activities, such as gardening, birdwatching, and resource farming. The toolbox includes items like a pickaxe, fishing rod, and watering can, among others. As these tools are used, their durability decreases, and once it runs out, the tools become unusable.
Fortunately, there’s no need to purchase them again. Instead, an item can be consumed to repair them. Here’s how to repair tools in Heartopia.
How to Repair Tools in Heartopia
In order to repair tools in Heartopia, you will have to use the Repair Kit.
- Go to your bag inventory
- Select any repair kit
- Drop them on the ground
- Equip your tool and wait until it becomes fully repaired

Repair Kits have a circular range, and staying within that range is required to receive their effects. Tools can still be used while the kit is actively repairing them.
Additionally, if friends or other players are nearby, they can also repair their tools using your active repair kit. The effect is not reduced even if multiple players are within the range.
There are three types of Repair Kits in the game, each with different effects and durations:
- Repair Kit: Restores 3% durability per second for 17 seconds
- Crafty Repair Kit: Restores 5% durability per second for 20 seconds
- Master Repair Kit: Restores 5% durability per second for 40 seconds
