How to Get Every Currency in Helldivers II

Game Guides Helldivers II

In Helldivers 2, there are three main forms of currency used to upgrade your Helldiver’s armor and weapons. In this guide, I’ll discuss all three currencies, what each is used for, and how each can be acquired or purchased in-game.

This guide excludes Samples, which are used for purchasing ship Modules. For more information on getting and using every type of Sample, check out our Ship Upgrades guide.

What are Requisition Slips in Helldivers II

Requisition Slips are the first of the three currencies found in Helldivers II. Currently, Requisition Slips can only be used to buy Stratagems. Additionally, a player can only have up to 50,000 Requisition Slips in their possession at a time.

How to Get Requisition Slips in Helldivers II

Completing Missions is one of the main ways to get Requisition Slips. Successfully completing a Mission gives you both experience and Requisition Slips. The amount you get depends on several variables:

  • The difficulty level of the Mission.
  • How many Sub-Objectives were completed.
  • If fighting Automatons, how many factories were destroyed.
  • If fighting Terminids, how many nests were destroyed.
  • How much time is remaining in the Mission. Finishing faster gives better rewards.
  • How many Helldivers in the squad extract successfully. Everyone extracting gives more experience and Requisition Slips than only one or two extracting.

Requisition Slips can also be picked up from Places of Interest during Missions. One particularly sneaky spot they can be found is in hidden locked bunkers. By throwing a grenade at the bunker, you can blow the doors off of it.

These boxes can contain Requisition Credits, weapons, and, if you’re lucky, Super Credits and Medals. These currencies can also be found in the “friendship doors” that require two Helldivers to open, but you’ll need a squad to access those.

What are Super Credits in Helldivers II

Super Credits are the special paid currency in the game. They are used in the Superstore, which carries specialty armor. The Superstore’s selections refresh every 48 hours, giving players plenty of opportunities to purchase something they’d like. The only other thing Super Credits are used for currently is buying the Premium Warbond pass, which costs 1,000 Super Credits.

How to Get Super Credits in Helldivers II

Like mentioned in the discussion of Requisition Slips, Super Credits can rarely be found in a few of the more hidden Points of Interest. One of the major Points of Interest they are found in are the hidden bunkers. Use a grenade to blow the doors off and potentially get some Super Credits.

Taking the doors off of a locked container in Helldivers 2 to reveal Requisition Slips, Warbionds, and potentially even Super Credits.

However, Super Credits can really be found at all kinds of Points of Interest all over the map. They will be found in stacks of 10 in these Points of Interest, so you’ll need to open up dozens of them to get enough Super Credits for gear. In the image below, I found a stack of Super Credits after opening up a crashed escape pod.

However, Super Credits are more commonly found in two other ways. The first of these is by buying them directly from the Acquisition Store. They can be purchased in the following quantities:

  • 150 Super Credits for $1.99
  • 375 Super Credits for $4.99
  • 1000 Super Credits for $9.99
  • 2100 Super Credits for $19.99

The other way to acquire them is by using Medals to buy them in the Warbond store. They can only be bought from each designated space once, so there’s a very limited amount available in this route.

What are Medals in Helldivers II

Medals are the main in-game currency for buying weapons and armor for your Helldivers.

How to Get Medals in Helldivers II

Just like the other two currencies, Medals can be found in Points of Interest scattered across the map during a Mission. This includes the previously shown hidden and friendship bunkers as well as around crashed escape pods, building areas, and anywhere else you may discover. However, Medals also have the added bonus of being given to player after successful completion of a Mission.
