In order to unlock An Old Friend, you must find the horse named Pebbles which is located in Semine. Read on to learn exactly where you need to go and what you need to do to rescue Pebbles.
Go to Semine To Find An Old Friend Pebbles – KCD2
Pebbles the Horse is located at the Horse Trader’s in the southeast part of Semine. A horse on your map will indicate the correct location, along with the written marker “Horse Trader.” Approach the grey horse in the field to interact with it. Henry recognizes Pebbles and is excited to find out she’s alive.
Speak to Groom Ballatay
Speak to Groom Ballatay, a man in a green tunic. He’ll either be standing next to the door or wandering around the area. You have to convince him to give you Pebbles or pay for her. When you first start speaking to him, select the dialogue option “Pebbles!” The man, however, will claim he bought her fair and square.
Next, you can select one of two options. You can say “I’ll buy her, then,” and pay Groom Ballatay 150 Groschen. You can also try to negotiate a lower price. But, if you have a Speech Stat of 7, you can try to convince Groom Ballatay to give you Pebbles for free by selecting “Be reasonable.” If you select this option, Henry will point out that the horse was found at the same place his entourage was attacked, managing to successfully persuade the reluctant man.
Do keep in mind that, while stealing Pebbles is an option, this won’t unlock the trophy. To unlock it, you need to become the legal owner of Pebbles.
