One of the main romance options in (KCD2) Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is with Katherine. She’s someone you meet early on in the game. The romance continues gradually over the course of KCD2, making for an interesting playthrough!
Keep in mind that if you romance Katherine, you will be locked out of romancing Hans.
The Art of Flirting (Or the Beginning of the Katherine Romance)
The first chance you have to flirt with Katherine and have it made an impact is during the quest The Sword and the Quill. As long as your impression skill is 20 or higher, tell her “May I join you?” when she says she is going to bed. So, for those that don’t have an impression skill of this level, work on it!
Also remember to complete her side quests! The first is The Fifth Commandant (making sure to take her side at every turn) and the second is the Lion’s Den
Laying the Foundation for Romance
A second chance comes up to flirt in a bathhouse during The Lion’s Den quest we mentioned previously. With some charisma checks, pick these two phrases in order they appear. “It’s different with you.” and then “What about a kiss for luck?”
Your final chance to flirt will occur during the Italian Job. Before talking to Zizka, go talk to Katherine and flirt with her.
Locking in the Katherine Romance
Now here comes the finale where you get to lock in that romance with Katherine! During the Hunger and Despair quest, talk with Katherine after speaking to Zizka. Tell her “I’ll bring help, and everything will be all right again.” This will lock in the romance with Katherine.
