Laying the (Flirting) Foundation with Hans Capon
Every romance starts somewhere and it’s no different with Henry and Hans. Hans is a constant traveling companion of Henry which gives you a few chances flirt with him during the actual campaign. Take advantage of this because you might miss out on the chance to seal the deal at the end of the game.
During the When the Bell Tolls Quest, tell him “I care about you” after saying “I’d like to give him a punch in the mouth.” Then when you’re completing the Taking French Leave quest, you can tell Hans “We’ll manage together” after escaping from the castle.
Blossoming Romance
The romance with Hans starts to shift to something more cocreate from here. To continue flirting and expressing your interest in Hans, pay attention to what you say during the Italian Job quest. There are two responses you need to select to ensure you’re on the way to romance with Hans.
Your first chance occurs before the enemy assault. Talk to Hans before talking to Zizka and make sure to select “I’m more concerned about you” when given the chance. Second chance happens while your in the tunnels. Look for Hans before climbing up the ladder and tell him “I care about you” when the option comes up.
Sealing the Deal (The Finale of the Hans Capon Romance)
Now we have reached the cresendo for those wanting to romance Hans. During the quest called Hunger and Despair, you can talk to Hans inside his bedroom. Say “We have a lot in common with them.” From there an option to kiss him should come up. If you want to turn that bromance into a romance, then kiss him.
And with that you have successfully romanced Hans.
