Like A Dragon: Ishin has many different substory quests that players can find and try to complete. One of which is the Brawler For Hire substory
Brawler For Hire is one of the many optional substory quests. It basically sees Ryoma coming across a hitman of sorts. He gets paid for beating others up. Coincidentally we end up coming across an individual that we may have upset earlier (NOTE: You may need to complete the ‘Ee Ja Nai For Justice‘ substory quest first)
SUBSTORY QUEST: Brawler For Hire
CHAPTER: Chapter 3 – Mibu Wolves
QUEST GIVER: Sumi Bozu
REWARDS: 300 Virtue
LOCATION: Mukurogai First Floor
GUIDE:
This substory will trigger automatically as soon as you enter the eastern side of the ‘Mukurogai First Floor’. Near ‘Paradise’. Here we will find a man standing next to a banner. Apparently he is related to a ‘Brawler for Hire’. His name is Sumi Bozu. Speak to him.
We will now learn that Sumi Bozu is basically a hitman. Someone pays him and he goes around beating them up. When Ryoma tries to convince him that he may get into trouble for doing this kind of job. Sumi basically does not care. He seems to enjoy and get a ‘buzz’ from beating other people. He is also a bit like Victor Zsasz too, in the way that he enjoys scaring his own body when it comes to claiming his victories.
A ‘corrupt official’ then arrives and all chaos kicks off. Apparently this ”official’ was one of the ones that was spotted in one of the protestor quests. Possibly the ”Ee Ja Nai For Justice”? Either way he has a bone to pick with us. The ”official” then pays the brawler and we become the target.
DESCRIPTION
He was a dangerous man, and he had great instincts. I’m sure he’ll be even more formidable next time I see him.
