Like A Dragon: Ishin has many different substory quests that players can find and try to complete. One of which is Its A Long Story – The Final Chapter
Its A Long Story is an optional substory quest that sees us having to listen to a woman talk endlessly. Whilst also trying to pay attention and refrain from ignoring her. All of this in order to be quizzed at the end. It is the second substory quest within the quest chain.

CHAPTER: Chapter 2 – The Man Named Saito Hajime
QUEST GIVER: Sakiko
REWARDS: 350 Virtue, Tear of the Dragon
LOCATION: South Yashikimachi (Fushimi)
GUIDE:
After you have managed to complete the ‘It’s A Long Story’ substory quest. We will want to return to South Yashikimachi and meet up with Sakiko, who will be in her usual spot.
Speak with her once again and we will get another rather boring and long conversation. Again none of it is particularly interesting but we will get another quiz to see if we have kept up with her or not. Thankfully this guide will make quick work of that.
Anyway find Sakiko in her usual spot and choose the ‘Yeah, bring it on’ option to begin. She will then go into one of her lengthy stories. With the first topic being about autumn and food.
The first set of optional dialogue choices will include; ‘Red, white, and green’. ‘White, green, and red’. ‘Green, red, and white’ and, of course, ‘Could you remind me?’.
The correct optional choice is; ‘Red, white, and green‘.
The second set of optional dialogue choices will include; ‘Sweet Potatoes’. ‘Amazake’. ‘Zenzai’ or ‘Could you remind me?’
The correct optional choice is; Amazake
The third and final set of optional dialogue choices will include; ‘Sayuri’, ‘Sumire’, ‘Susan’ or ‘Could you remind me?’
The correct optional choice is; Sumire.
After answering all of her questions the substory quest will then come to an end. We will be rewarded with 350 Virtue and Tear of the Dragon. The latter of which is a crafting material. It can be used to craft equipment.
