The Barking Dog (Substory) Like A Dragon: Ishin
Like A Dragon: Ishin has many different substory quests that players can find and try to complete. One of which is The Barking Dog
The Barking Dog is another optional substory. This one sees Ryoma confronting a barking dog. Apparently this dog will not stop barking. It has got to the point where the local residents are getting fed up and aim to have it euthanized

LOCATION: Teramachi (Rakunai)
GUIDE:
Head down the alleyway next to the Ebisu Pawn Rakunai. This will take you to Teramachi. Here we will encounter a ‘Barking Dog’.
As Ryoma tries to calm the dog down and stop it from barking, to no real avail. A woman then comes over and mentions that the dog never shuts up. Both day and night, it never stops barking. Apparently the dog is a stray and this is its favourite spot. Due to the noise it makes and the fact it wont stop barking, the local residents have decided to have it euthanized.
Ryoma then decides to purchase a chew toy or a bone in hopes that it will stop it from barking and be spared an unfortunate circumstance. Head inside the nearby ‘Ebisu Pawn’ store and purchase a ‘bone’ for 100 mon. Give the dog the bone you just purchased. It actually works and the dog stops barking. Thus completing the substory and starting a new ‘Friendship Bond’.
DESCRIPTION
That noisy dog finally quieted down after I gave him a bone. That should keep the annoyed neighbours from killing him!
